The edition of 2014 of the “SELEZIONE DEL SINDACO” has taken place in Bolzano between the 30th of May and the 1st of June.

This Contest is an international wine competition, that changes its seat every edition and that provides the participation of the Company, which produces the wine, and the City, where the vineyards are located.

After Verduzzo 2009, awarded in the last edition, this year has been the turn of Chardonnay 2012 to win the Silver Medal.

From 06th to 09th of April 2014 we will be present at Vinitaly in Verona.

VENICE - 16th OF FEBRUARY 2014

Last Sunday we had the honor of being present at the exclusive selection of great red wines from Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia. 

Event that has been organised by F.I.S.A.R. with the collaboration of Paolo Ianna Wine Consulting, in the beautiful lounges of Hotel Europa e Regina and that had the purpose to bring the wine lovers near the producers.

It's soon to reap the results, but we are happy to have been present.

We are really proud to report an important result obtained by our Friulano Vigneto Storico 2012.

On the 16th and the 17th of November we will be present at the XVth edition of Ein Prosit, top event in Friuli Venezia Giulia reguarding wines from autochthonous vines and international ones.

Adriano Gigante’s Schioppettino Doc Cof 2009 has entered in the Golden Star Nomination and has obtained the Corona Reward, the most important prize conferred by the guide “Good Italian Wines”, edition 2014.
The prestigious autochthon Italian wine guide represents the reference for Italian and foreign markets. The guide, published by Touring Publisher and arrived at the 10th edition, takes inspiration from Italian oenological tradition and appreciates local roots, territory and typicality. The proclamation took place on July, 27th, 2013 in Villa Toppo Florio, Buttrio (UD).

From May, 30th to June, 2nd, 2013 took place in Fanzolo di Vedelago, Treviso province, the 12th International Oenological Competition “Mayor’s Selection”. To the competition took part 480 companies with 1223 wines.

Were conferred 5 Great Golden Medals, 93 Golden Medals and 271 Silver Medals.

On June, 21st, 2012 the works for the realization of the new winery and agritourism has officially started. Adriano Gigante and his wife Giuliana started the works with the laying of the foundation stone. At the ceremony took part friends, colleagues, experts and territorial authorities in order to toast to this new project.
Under the winery to be and the foundation stone, there’s a historical bottle with the label “Barbe blanc” that represents for Adriano tradition and family. It will guarantee the best auspicious for the future of the company.
